Future For Two Countries Is More Promising, Hashimi

ANKARA - Iraqi Vice-President left for Istanbul on Thursday after completing talks in the Turkish capital of Ankara.
Speaking to reporters at Ankara`s Esenboga International Airport, Tariq al-Hashimi said that the future for Turkey and Iraq is more promising.
"There is an opportunity to re-activate joint committees established years ago between our two countries," al-Hashimi stressed.
Al-Hashimi reminded that Turkish Prime Ministry Chief Adviser Prof. Dr. Ahmet Davutoglu and an accompanying delegation is presently in Baghdad.
Al-Hashimi will remain in Istanbul until May 5th.
