Foreign Minister Of Bosnia - Herzegovina In Ankara

ANKARA - The foreign minister of Bosnia-Herzegovina said that they aimed at becoming a member of the NATO in 2010 and gaining the candidate country status from the EU in 2009.
Speaking at a conference at the Eurasia Strategic Studies Center (ASAM), Sven Alkalaj, who is currently paying a formal visit to Ankara, said that the rebuilding process has been continuing in his country with the assistance of the international community. It is a long process, he said.
Alkalaj said that there have been perfect political relations between Turkey and Bosnia-Herzegovina and that recent high-level visits made a positive contribution to the bilateral relations.
Alkalaj was received by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan earlier in the day.
