Turkish Commander Visits Cemetery Of Turkish Soldiers In Baku

BAKU - Turkish Air Forces Commander Gen. Aydogan Babaoglu visited cemetery of Turkish soldiers in Baku on Thursday.
The soldiers of the Turkish Caucasus Islam Army were killed in 1918 in clashes in the region to rescue Azerbaijan from Armenian and Russian occupation.
Gen. Aydogan also visited tomb of Haydar Aliyev, former president of Azerbaijan and laid a wreath to Ebedi Mesale monument.
Gen. Babaoglu, accompanied by a delegation, also visited Turkish Embassy in Baku.
Gen. Babaoglu is expected to visit some air bases and air forces units in Azerbaijan during his 2-day visit.
