ISTANBUL - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said that foreign trade figures would not be revised; and the target which was earlier set was still valid.
Tuzmen attended the 11th Eurasia Economy Summit in Istanbul on Thursday.
He said that foreign trade figures of Turkey were encouraging despite all problems in the country.
Tuzmen revealed that Turkey`s foreign trade volume was over 300 billion USD.
He said export target in the government program was set as 125 billion USD, adding that 12-month export figure (as of April 2008) already reached 117 billion USD, and if there was not any serious problem, the target would be reached.
He said that growth rate of Turkey was 7 percent (average) in the last five years adding that rise in car exports was over 50 percent in April.
