ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan returned from France to Turkey early on Thursday.
Erdogan paid a three-day official visit to France. Erdogan met French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin on Monday.
Prime Minister Erdogan made a speech on ''Turkey-France: New Perspectives for an Influential Partnership'' at the ''Movement of French Enterprises'' (MEDEF) headquarters in Paris.
On Tuesday, Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan met French President Jacques Chirac.
On the other hand, Turkish Airlines (THY) Executive Board Chairman Candan Karlitekin and Airbus Director General Noel Forgeard signed a letter of intent on purchase of 36 planes on Wednesday.
Erdogan and Chirac were also present in the signing ceremony.
