ANKARA - Turkish security forces seized a total of 89 kg of hashish in operations in Turkey.
Gendarmerie and police teams confiscated illicit drugs in central province of Eskisehir, southeastern province of Sanliurfa, southern provinces Adana and Hatay, and eastern provinces Van and Agri.
Police arrested 16 people in connection with drug trafficking.
