ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan said on Wednesday that they wanted to set up a strategic dialogue mechanism between Turkey and Iraq.
Babacan held a joint press conference with Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Store who is currently in Ankara.
Babacan said that the mechanism would be led by prime ministers of the two country.
"The mechanism will be comprised of several ministers (besides the prime ministers) from the two country," Babacan said.
He added that a Turkish delegation, which would visit Iraq, would discuss the infrastructure of this mechanism with Iraqi officials.
