WASHINGTON, D.C. - Turkey`s Ambassador in Washington, D.C. Nabi Sensoy hosted a reception on Tuesday for a group of members of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF).
CBCF President Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick, Democrat congressman Kendrick Meek from Florida, Democrat representative from Texas Sheila Jackson Lee and other CBCF members attended the reception at the Turkish ambassador`s residence.
CBCF was established in 1976 as a non-partisan, non-profit, public policy, research and educational institute, supported 42 Afro-American Congresspeople and representatives, 12 of which are also members of the Turkish Friendship Group of the U.S. Congress.
