Turkey And Russia Cooperate In Civil Aviation Area

ANKARA - Civil aviation authorities from Turkey and Russia reached consensus on increasing the number of scheduled flight destinations to 10 in each country, a statement said on Tuesday.
Civil Aviation Directorate General of Turkey said in a statement that bilateral air transport agreement which was signed between Turkey and Russia in 1967 has been revised in Moscow recently.
Turkish delegation headed by Civil Aviation Director General Dr. Ali Ariduru and Russian authorities reached consensus increasing the number of scheduled flight destinations to 10 in Russia (Moscow, Yekaterinburg, S. Petersburg, Rostov, Kazan, Krasnodar, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Sochi, Ufa) and in Turkey (Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Dalaman, Bodrum, Antalya and other four destinations to be announced later).
Authorities from both countries also agreed that restrictions on frequency of flights for cargo transportation would be lifted.
