ANKARA - Turkey's tourism revenues were up in the first quarter of 2008.
Turkey obtained 28.4 percent more revenues from tourism in the first three months of 2008 over the same period of 2007, the statistics board said on Tuesday.
The statistics board also said Turkey earned 2.7 billion USD from tourism in the first quarter of 2008.
This figure had been 2.1 billion USD in the same period of 2007.
