BINGOL/ELAZIG - A security official was killed in clashes with PKK terrorists in southeastern Turkey on Tuesday.
Irfan Balkanlioglu, governor of the southeastern province of Bingol, said that security forces confronted with a group of PKK terrorists in rural area near Genc town of the province.
"A senior sergeant died while two soldiers along with three village guards were wounded when terrorists opened fire on security forces. Two terrorists were neutralized in the clashes," he said.
The governor added that the military operation had been under way in the region to neutralize terrorists.
