Turkish Cypriots residing in England drew attention to the unjust and unfair isolations and embargos adopted upon the Turkish Cypriots and demanded their immediate removal.
The Group entitled the "Embargoed Group" established to assist the immediate removal of embargos upon northern Cyprus drew attention to these isolations in their function celebrating the anniversary of the referendum of the Annan Plan.
The Embargoed Group sent a letter to British Prime Minister Gordon Brown requesting the restitution of the "rejected rights" of the Turkish Cypriots.
The group additionally organised a "respect and equality" convoy on Sunday and expressed their frustration arguing that, "not one embargo has been lifted within 4 years despite the promises in lifting isolations".
