Talat: We Are In Preparation For A Real Negotiation Process

TRNC President Mehmet Ali Talat pointed out that they were in preparation for a real negotiation process and these negotiations were beginning, and added "different from the situation in the past what we observe is that we shall enter in a serious negotiation process"

Talat emphasized that during the period of Papadopulos, they could not even agree on the topics of technical committees and working groups, however this time they, quickly and easily, determined the topics and also the agenda of the technical committees and the working groups.

Talat drew attention that the main principle that they agreed with the Greek Cypriot side was the fact that the technical committees and working groups would not negotiate, the negotiations would be done by the leaders.
