BELEN/ADANA/MALATYA/KILIS - Turkish security forces confiscated 48 kilograms of hashish in their operations throughout the country on Monday.
Acting on a tip-off, police seized 21 kilograms of hashish and arrested a person in Belen town of the southern province of Hatay.
In a separate operation, gendarmery forces impounded 23 kilograms of hashish in Ceyhan town of the southern province of Adana and sent three people to prison.
Also, two people were arrested with three kilograms of hashish in the eastern city of Malatya.
In the southeastern city of Kilis, gendarmery forces acted on a tip-off and seized one kilogram of hashish.
