Turkish Parliament Speaker Calls For Closer Ties With Singapore

ANKARA - Turkish Parliament Speaker said on Monday that relations between Turkey and Singapore should be promoted.
Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan told journalists after meeting Parliament Speaker Abdullah Tarmugi of Singapore in Ankara that both countries should also work to boost the current 700 million USD foreign trade volume.
Singapore's Parliament Speaker Tarmugi said relations between Turkey and Singapore should not remain limited with business and economy but should include other areas such as education and culture.
