New Zealander Foreign Minister Due In Ankara

ANKARA - Foreign Minister Winston Peters of New Zealand will arrive in Ankara on Monday as the formal guest of Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan.
Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Sunday that during the meetings, further development of relations as well as regional and international matters would be discussed.
Peters will also be received by Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan.
Peters will depart from Turkey on April 29th.
There is a special relation between Turkey and New Zealand rooted in history.
Government of New Zealand is represented on high level in commemoration ceremonies of Canakkale Battles every year between April 24th and 25th.
