ISTANBUL - Turkey will host the European Underwater Hockey Championships for the first time between April 26th and May 3rd in Istanbul.
Turkey, Spain, England, Slovenia, Netherland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Italy, Belgium, Serbia and last year`s champions France will compete in the tournament which will take place at Bahcesehir complex.
The championships will start with a ceremony on April 26th. The first game will take place between France and Turkey on April 27th.
Turkish national team was ranked the second behind France in 2007, earning the opportunity to host this year`s championships.
