Finance Minister Receives Indonesian Delegation

ANKARA - Turkish Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan received a delegation from Indonesian Parliamentary Committee on Tax in Ankara on Tuesday.
Prior to the meeting, Unakitan told reporters that value added tax rate dropped from 18 percent to 8 percent for Turkish tourism sector in the beginning of 2008.
He said that the cut was made to increase competitive power in the sector.
The meeting with the Indonesian delegation was closed to press.
