Businessmen From Turkey And Bahrain To Meet In Istanbul

ISTANBUL - Businessmen from Turkey and Bahrain will gather in the Turkish city of Istanbul on April 30th.
Turkish-Bahrain Business Council would hold its third joint meeting in Istanbul, a statement from the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) said on Tuesday.
The meeting will be held within the framework of the upcoming visit of Bahrain Businessmen`s Association delegation to Turkey. The association is chaired by Khalid Almoayed, who is also the co-chairman of Turkish-Bahrain Business Council.
Turkey`s Industry & Trade Minister Zafer Caglayan is also expected to attend the meeting.
Businessmen from the two countries would discuss bilateral investment opportunities during the meeting, DEIK said.
Bahrain, officially the Kingdom of Bahrain, is a borderless island country in the Persian Gulf.
Believing that cooperation with Gulf countries bears a significant potential for Turkish entrepreneurs, DEIK has established Turkish-Bahrain Business Council in 2006 after United Arab Emirates (UAE) Business Council that was established in 2000 and the Saudi Arabia Business Council established in 2003.
Bahrain is ranked the 30th in IMF`s global GDP ranking for 2007.
