Turkey's Religious Affairs Chief In New York

NEW YORK - Turkey`s religious affairs head arrived in New York, the United States to hold several talks within the scope of the activities to mark the "Birth of Prophet Muhammad".
Ali Bardakoglu, head of the Religious Affairs Directorate, will hold talks in New York and Washington, D.C. He will deliver lectures at Columbia and Harvard universities.
Bardakoglu is scheduled to meet Republican congressman Edward Whitfield, the co-chairman of Turkish friendship group at the U.S. congress.
