Turkish F.M. In Egypt

CAIRO - Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gull arrived in Egyptian capital of Cairo on Wednesday to attend the meeting of regional initiative on Iraq.
Besides Gul, foreign ministers of Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan and Egypt, and Lakhdar Brahimi, the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Kofi Annan's Special Representative for Iraq who is getting prepared to hand over the mission, will participate in the meeting.
Bureaucrats will have a separate meeting and work on the final statement of the meeting.
Ministers will continue their meeting at lunch. European Union (EU) foreign policy chief Javier Solana will also attend the lunch.
The meeting will end after the afternoon session.
Gul is expected to return to Turkey in the evening.
