Turkey Overhaul Two Hospitals In Afghanistan

ANKARA - Turkey repaired two damaged hospitals in Afghanistan, Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
A statement of the Ministry said that two hospitals in Afghanistan which were seriously damaged due to war and clashes in this country, were renovated, equipped with modern medical materials and re-opened as ''Turkish-Afghan Friendship Hospital.''
Around 300-400 patients were treated daily in those hospitals with 130 bed capacity, the statement said.
The statement noted that a third hospital was also being renovated, and it would be opened soon.
Two mobile health clinics also started to serve regional people, the statement added.
