ISLAMABAD - Turkish Foreign Minister and Chief Negotiator for EU talks Ali Babacan has arrived in Pakistan`s capital of Islamabad on Friday to hold official talks.
Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf will receive Babacan on Saturday morning.
Babacan will hold a tete-a-tete meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi. The two ministers will later lead discussions between the delegations of the two countries.
Ali Babacan is scheduled to meet the Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani.
Babacan will also meet Asif Ali Zardari, spouse of the former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, who was recently assassinated.
Ali Babacan and his delegation will return to Turkey late on Saturday.
