WASHINGTON, D.C. - Turkey`s top religious official will travel to the United States as part of the activities celebrating the "Birth of Prophet Mohammad".
Prof. Dr. Ali Bardakoglu will be in the U.S. between April 21st and 27th.
Bardakoglu will hold talks in New York and Washington, D.C. He will deliver lectures at Columbia and Harvard universities.
Bardakoglu will meet the Dean of Harvard Divinity School Prof. William Graham. Bardakoglu will hold talks with members of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom.
Ali Bardakoglu is scheduled to meet Republican Edward Whitfield, the co-chair of Turkish friendship group at the U.S. congress.
Dr. Bardakoglu will deliver a speech at the Catholic University of America and elaborate on "the experience of the Muslim Turkish culture in co-existing with other religious groups".
