ANKARA - Foreign minister of Austria would pay an official visit to Turkey, Turkey`s Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
Austria`s Foreign Minister Dr. Ursula Plassnik would visit Turkey on April 20th-22nd upon the invitation of Turkey`s Foreign Minister Ali Babacan, a statement of the ministry said.
In its statement, the ministry said talks between Turkish and Austrian delegations would take place on April 21st. Babacan and Plassnik will head the delegations.
During her visit to Turkey, Plassnik will be received by President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Bilateral political, economic and cultural relations, Turkey`s European Union membership negotiations, as well as regional and global issues will be taken up during Plassnik`s discussions with Turkish authorities.
