Turkish Divers Searching For Sunken Russian Ship

TRABZON - Archaeological divers are trying to locate a Russian warship which is believed to have sunk offshore northeastern province of Trabzon in 1917.
Nilgun Yilmazer, curator of Trabzon Museums, told the A.A correspondent on Friday that some people rumoured that there was a sunken Russian vessel off Arsin town of the province.
"We don`t have detailed information about the ship. We only got some information from the people living there," she said.
Two archaeological divers would continue to search for the ship and if they found wreck of the ship, it could be exhibited at the museum, Yilmazer said.
