Mersin Exports 35 Tonnes Of Jumbo Shrimp To Europe

ADANA/MERSIN - Southern province of Mersin exported 35 tonnes of jumbo shrimp to France, Italy, Spain and Germany in 2007.
In 2006, Mersin`s jumbo shrimp exports to the said countries was 29 tonnes.
Each jumbo shrimp weighs around 100 grams and is 12-13 centimeters long. A kilogram of jumbo shrimp sells for 50 USD.
