Japanese Government To Build Museum In Kirsehir

KAYSERI - Japanese government will build a tumulus-shaped museum in Kaman town of central Anatolian province of Kirsehir.
Japanese Anatolian Archeology Institute Secretary General, Deniz Erbisim, told AA on Thursday that the excavations in Kaman-Kalehoyuk had been pursued by Japan Middle East Culture Center since 1986; and Japanese government would build a museum there.
Erbisim said that the groundbreaking ceremony of the museum would be held on April 25th with participation of Turkish Culture & Tourism Minister Ertugrul Gunay.
Kalehoyuk is situated in Cagirkiran hamlet of Kaman. It is a typical Anatolian tumulus having a height of 16 meters.
