PARIS - Turkey is an important country in terms of the world global strategy, Movement of French Enterprises MEDEF President M. Ernest-Antoine Seilliere said on Tuesday.
Speaking at a meeting in the MEDEF headquarters in French capital of Paris after Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan`s speech, Seilliere said that French business circles had been working for Turkey`s future in Europe.
Seilliere said that France was the leading country among countries investing in Turkey, stressing that Turkey had all advantages to be a leading industry power.
He said that there was a very good business environment in Turkey which had a very qualified work force.
Noting that he believed growth in Turkey in such an environment would be permanent, Seilliere stressed that they would contribute to Turkey`s European Union target.
Meanwhile, when Seilliere said that French businessmen would make necessary contribution to Turkey`s EU target but they would not be involved in diplomatic matters, Erdogan said that the MEDEF President could also contribute to diplomatic process because they always saw that those who managed the economy contributed to diplomatic processes.
