WASHINGTON - The White House said Thursday that it was concerned about the escalation of Middle East violence but underlined that Israeli-Palestinian peace talks continued.
"We are concerned about any ongoing violence, but note that the Israelis and Palestinians continue to discuss the way ahead," said US national security council spokesman Gordon Johndroe.
