Israeli Rocket Attack Kills Hezbollah Militiaman In Lebanon

AITA SHAAB, Lebanon, July 20 (AFP) - A Hezbollah fighter was killed in an Israeli air raid on a south Lebanon village on Tuesday, a source from the Shiite Muslim militia said.
Cross border violence flared the day after a senior Hezbollah military commander was killed in a car bomb attack in Beirut which was blamed on arch-foe Israel.
An Israeli combat helicopter fired two rockets on the village of Aita Shaab just 500 metres (yards) from the border with Lebanon on Tuesday, Lebanese police said.
In Jerusalem, Israeli military sources said a combat helicopter had fired a tocket on a Hezbollah position near the border.
Israeli troops and Hezbollah militiamen also exchanged fire across the frontier.
