BOLU - Turkish police seized 33 kilograms of heroin in an operation in northwestern province of Bolu, officials from the security department said on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip-off, security teams stopped and searched a car on D-100 highway near Bolu and confiscated 33 kg of heroin in the car. Driver was taken into custody in the operation.
In other operations in southern province of Hatay, central province of Kayseri and southeastern province of Diyarbakir, anti-drug squad seized 14.5 kg of hashish.
