LEFKOSA - Six working groups and seven technical committees in Cyprus will formally start working on April 18th.
President Mehmet Ali Talat of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Greek Cypriot leader Demetris Christofias had decided to set up such groups and committees during their meeting on March 21st.
The groups and committees, which will work on substantial issues and daily matters in Cyprus, will convene at buffer zone in Lefkosa on Friday.
Names of working groups are administration and share of power, EU issues, security and guarantees, land, property, and economic issues.
Names of technical committees are issues on crime, economic and commercial issues, cultural heritage, crisis management, humanitarian issues, health, and environment.
