WASHINGTON D.C. - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen completed his talks in Washington D.C. and proceeded from the United States to Belgium late on Tuesday.
Tuzmen participated in the 27th annual conference of American Turkish Council, and met U.S. trade representative Susan Schwab in the U.S. capital.
The Turkish minister will meet Peter Mandelson, the European commissioner for trade, and Olli Rehn, the European commissioner for enlargement, in the Belgian capital, Brussels.
Tuzmen is expected to discuss problems Turkey faces due to implementation of the Customs Union agreement with the European Union (EU), and the possible steps to solve these problems.
State Minister Tuzmen will also debate problems Turkish transporters and exporters are facing.
