WASHINGTON D.C. - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said on Tuesday that Turkish companies would be the best business partners of the U.S. companies.
Addressing the 27th annual conference of the American-Turkish Council (ATC), Tuzmen said the best operating market economy in the region was in Turkey.
Referring to cooperation of Turkey and the United States in crises that erupted in the Balkans, Central Asia and the Middle East, Tuzmen said political and military victories should be complemented with economic victories.
Tuzmen said Turkey hosted U.S. companies like Coca Cola, JP Morgan, Microsoft, Procter and Gamble, Nike and General Electric and many U.S. companies considered Turkey as the center of its region.
Tuzmen said there were 834 U.S. companies in Turkey, and noted that their total investment cost is 9.2 billion USD.
