ANKARA - The 12th High Security Committee meeting between Turkey and Iran began in Ankara on Tuesday.
The meeting takes place at the Turkish Ministry of Interior and will last two days.
The Turkish delegation is headed by Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior, Osman Gunes, while the Iranian delegation is headed by Abbas Mohtaj, Deputy Interior Minister in charge of security.
Among the topics to be discussed are the fight against terror, illicit drugs trafficking, issues related to the citizens of both countries and border related matters.
The 11th High Security Committee meeting took place in Tehran between February 18th and 22nd, 2006.
