Presidency Spokesperson Ercakica: Greek Cypriot Side Must Prove That Change Of Leadership Has Brought Change Of Policy

The Presidency has called upon the Greek Cypriot side to prove their will for a solution by lifting international isolations adopted upon the Turkish Cypriots and urged the international community to warn the Greek Cypriots with this concern.
In his weekly briefing, Presidency Spokesperson Hasan Erçakyca underlined that President of the Greek Cypriot Administration Demetris Christofias also contains responsibility in the resolution of the Cyprus problem and that the Greek Cypriots must prove that a change of leadership has brought upon change of policy.
Pointing out that the Greek Cypriot leadership has attempted to blame Turkey for the lack of a solution by bending historic truths, Spokesperson Erçakyca stated the President's necessity to repeat this warning due to the Greek Cypriot side's persistence to adopt this policy.
Reiterating that positive developments had resulted from the leadership of Christofias, the TRNC Presidency pointed out that the lifting of isolations adopted upon the Turkish Cypriots should be amongst the positive developments.
