5 Iranian Drug Smugglers Captured In Eastern Anatolian City Of Hakkari

HAKKARI (CIHAN) - Five Iranian drug smugglers hiding in a home in the Yüksekova district of the southeastern city of Hakkari near the Iran and Iraq border were captured on Monday with materials used for producing drugs.
The Hakkari Narcotics Police received intelligence that Iranian people were using a house to sell materials used for producing drugs and were also selling drugs smuggled from Iran. The police raided the house and confiscated 16 kilograms of opium and 3 kilograms. Five Iranians and one Turk were arrested.
