Unemployment Rate 11.3 Percent In January 2008

ANKARA - Unemployment rate in Turkey was 11.3 percent in January 2008.
The unemployment rate had been 11 percent in the same month last year.
According to the Turkish Board of Statistics, unemployment in January 2008, actually covering the figures between December 2007 and February 2008, was 13 percent in urban areas and 8.6 percent in rural areas.
