TRABZON (CIHAN) - Seven passengers were killed and ten others were injured on Sunday in the northeastern Turkish province of Trabzon when a minibus plunged into a gorge. The Injured passengers were taken to the Maçka State Hospital, Trabzon Research and Farabi Hospital.
Yilmaz Kartal' minibus was returning from Tasköprü Upland Meadows in the neighboring province of Gümüshane when it flew into a roadside gorge due to excessive speed. The minibus reportedly plunged into the water when it failed to make a curve due to excessive speed.
Driver Yýlmaz Kartal and passengers Adanur, Muzaffer Maras, Mehmet Ali Özer, Yahya Sadikli, Ali Sarimetoglu and one unidentified woman lost their lives in the accident while Kenan Aydogdu, Özge Aydogdu, Yasemin Benli, Emrah Adanur, Sevda Adanur, Yahya Yavuz, Ahmet Iskender, Mehmet Mutluoglu, Zeki Ates and Temel Selim were injured.
A terrific accident on Sunday afternoon in northwestern Turkish city of Bolu claimed three lives and wounded six players.
