MERSIN/SANLIURFA - Turkish police seized 151.6 kilograms of hashish in southern province of Mersin and southeastern province of Sanliurfa on Monday.
Police impounded 143.4 kilograms of hashish in three separate operations and arrested 5 people in connection with the hashish.
Separately, gendarmery seized 8.2 kilograms of hashish in the luggage of a passenger in southeastern province of Sanliurfa during road check.
One person was detained.
