Turkey And IMF Agree On Draft Letter Of Intent

ANKARA - International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation concluded the last review of the stand-by arrangement on Monday.
Turkey and IMF delegation agreed on the draft letter of intent, according to a statement released by Treasury Undersecretariat.
The statement said the IMF delegation paid a visit to Ankara on April 4th upon an invitation from Turkish State Minister Mehmet Simsek.
The statement said, "IMF Executive Board of Directors are expected to convene at the beginning of May to debate review talks and release a loan tranche worth of 2.2 billion SDR (approximately 3.7 billion USD)."
