There Is No Difference Between Terrorist Organization PKK And PJAK, Mohtaj

TEHRAN - A high level Iranian official said Monday there is no difference between terrorist organization PKK and terrorist organization PJAK.
Speaking to reporters prior to his departure to Turkey in Tehran, Abbas Mohtaj, deputy interior minister in charge of security, said that Turkey and Iran are the targets of terrorist attacks.
The two countries fight against terror and cooperate with each other and Iran looks at the PKK and PJAK as a single terrorist organization under two different names, Mohtaj said.
"We want to increase cooperation with Turkey against the terrorist organizations," Mohtaj said.
Mohtaj will arrive in Ankara on Monday to attend the Turkey-Iran 12th High Security Committee meeting that will begin on Tuesday. A memorandum of understanding will be signed following the committee`s meeting in Ankara between Turkey and Iran.
The MOU will focus on the fight against terror and organized crimes, extradition of criminals and border security.
The 11th High Security Committee meeting took place in Tehran in February 2006.
