DAMASCUS- Minister of Housing and Construction Hamoud Al-Hussein reviewed Monday with a delegation of German Construction Bank stages of the work in the project of institutional development in institution of Damascus countryside water and ways to lift the level of the work in the projects.
The Minister also pointed out to the importance of the project and the need for cooperation and exerting further efforts for making this project a success, affirming keenness of the ministry to provide all the facilities to ensure the implementation of the project within the determined periods.
The development project in the water of Damascus countryside institution of water includes rehabilitation of water systems, sewage and treatment plants for servicing communities in Sit Zainab, Papila, Beit Sahem, Aqraba and Hujjeira. The Syrian government funds the project on par with the German Construction Bank, which provided Euro 90 million as a loan.
