President Gul Sends Congratulatory Message To A.T.C. Conference

WASHINGTON - Turkish President Abdullah Gul sent a congratulatory message to American-Turkish Council (ATC) conference on Sunday.
Gul, in his message, said that Turkey and the U.S. --as members of a democratic and free world-- have a sound partnership thanks to their security and defense cooperation.
Gul said that Turkish-U.S. relations have matured in passing years and turned into a strategic partnership.
President Gul said that special relations between Turkey and the U.S. are based on principles such as democracy, freedom, human rights, laws and free market economy.
He said that strategic partnership between the two countries serves not only the interests of Turkey and the U.S. but also to protection of peace, stability and security.
