Izmir Will Not Lose Its Ambition, Governor

IZMIR - Governor Cahit Kirac of Turkish Aegean province of Izmir said Monday their city will not lose its ambition.
Qualifying the result of the vote for the venue of the EXPO 2015 as "unjust", Kirac said their city could not digest this decision easily.
"However, Izmir has won in any case because its beauties have been promoted around the world," he told.
Italian city of Milan will host EXPO 2015--cited as the third largest event in the world in terms of economic and cultural impact, after the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games.
