ANKARA - Turkey`s exports reached 21.6 billion USD and imports rose to 32.2 billion USD in the first two months of this year.
Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) announced on Monday foreign trade figures for February.
According to these figures, Turkey`s exports rose by 43.9 percent in February over the same month of last year to reach 11 billion USD, while imports climbed to 15.9 billion USD with a 40.1 percent of increase.
Turkey`s foreign trade deficit grew 32.2 percent to reach 4.9 billion USD in February. Foreign trade deficit for the first two months increased 37.2 percent.
