ANKARA - Former German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer congratulated on Friday Abdullah Gul for being elected Turkey's President.
Gul met Fischer over a dinner in Foreign Ministry residence tonight.
The meeting was closed to press.
Gul was elected president on August 28th, 2007.
