Turkish Police Arrest 5 Iranians Smuggling 16.4 Kg Of Hashish In Hakkari

VAN - Turkish police arrested 5 Iranians who entered Turkey clandestinely with 16.4 kilograms of hashish and 3.2 kilograms of morphine in Yuksekova town of southeastern Hakkari province, sources said on Monday.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided and searched an apartment where the five illegal migrants of Iranian origin were staying, and seized 16.5 kilograms of hashish and 3.2 kilograms of morphine.
A local court sent 5 Iranians to prison, sources said, adding that an investigation continued.
