The Turkish Republic has planned to provide aid to the TRNC amounting to 790 million, 209 thousand new Turkish Liras. 312 million, 750 thousand NTL of this amount will be channelled to infrastructure and 152 million NTL will be used for Defence expenditure. In addition 108 million YTL will be used in projects for the private sector, 100 million will be utilised within daily expenditures whilst 324 million NTL will be utilised for debt expenditure.
The Turkish Republic has separated a sum of 561 million new TL for investments in the TRNC in its 2008 budget. But in the concerns of total investments for 2008, along with the total futures and returnable's, the amount has risen to a total of 790 million 209 thousand new TL.
A total of 360 projects to infrastructure and 100 projects within the private sector have already been determined in 2008. This figure is expected to rise to exceed 500 with the new projects within 2008.
